Johnny Doughnuts
Downtown Santa Rosa
For us, it all started with learning the art of handcrafted doughnuts made from wholesome ingredients. Inspired by history, our recipes started with classic doughs from the 1920’s that we play with based on seasonality and the freshest local ingredients we can find. Our doughnuts are handmade with care, and are fresh every day, of course.
We take doughnuts seriously, but also believe they’re all about fun, and you should feel that when you walk into one of our shops. Need help choosing the right doughnut for you? Just ask any of our Doughnut Enthusiasts - we’d love to help you make the perfect choice, or tell you what just came out of the oven.

The California
Downtown Santa Rosa
Adding to the city's vitality and livability, The California is a new arts and entertainment venue in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa. In the summer of 2022, The California returned to Santa Rosa. Building on the legacy of Santa Rosa’s original vaudeville California Theatre (1923-77), The California offers a variety of cultural activities, including live music, comedy, theatre, dance, lectures, classes and more. The new event venue with bar and cabaret-style seating is home of resident theatre companies Left Edge Theatre and Young Actors Studio (previously in residence at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts since 2015).

Unum Sculpture
Downtown Santa Rosa
Blessing Hancock’s “Unum” was approved by the Art in Public Places Committee in December 2020 after an extensive selection process. Inspired by the unified Old Courthouse Square, “Unum” is an illuminated, volumetric enclosure of light and language that serves as an icon for the Square, a community hub within the city.
Unum is an art installation which symbolizes unity and features sweeping stainless steel curves with water jet cut words in 34 different languages most spoken in Sonoma County, including two spoken languages by the Southern Pomo community, the original owners of the land the art piece now sits on, and the Coast Miwok community. When the sun sets, the words in all 34 languages illuminate, casting sprawling shadows onto Courthouse Square. Visit Downtown Santa Rosa to experience the art first-hand.
