Museum of Sonoma County
Established in 1985, the Museum of Sonoma County offers a variety of experiences for visitors of all ages and interests. With its rotating art and history exhibitions, the Museum welcomes over 20,000 visitors per year through general admissions, tours, school programs, public programs, and special events. The Museum also maintains a permanent collection of over 18,000 objects that document the region's rich history and celebrate local artists. The Seventh Street campus is open six days per week (Tuesday-Sunday) and is comprised of a contemporary art gallery, historic 1910 post office, and sculpture garden. Located in Downtown Santa Rosa, the Museum is walking distance from Old Courthouse Square, Railroad Square, and the Downtown Santa Rosa SMART Train depot.
