Lake Sonoma 50 Mile

Join us in Healdsburg, California, April 7th and 8th 2023 for the Classic Lake Sonoma 50 Mile, Marathon, and NEW Trail Sisters Half Marathon!

The Classic 50 Mile and NEW Trail Sisters (TS) women’s half marathon courses are an out and back style, whereas the marathon course will make a complete loop around Lake Sonoma, crossing the iconic lake bridge. All of the courses boast of “relentless” rolling hills surrounding beautiful Lake Sonoma. Additionally, the out and back courses present an ability to connect with other runners, providing opportunity for high-fives and well wishes.

When it comes to performance, these are perfect events for speedsters looking to test their fitness, and for the first timers who are looking for a challenging, yet encouraging course. New for 2023, we will be providing cash awards for the top three male and female athletes in the 50 mile event!

In true trail community fashion, all three race events will now start and finish at the Lake Sonoma Visitor Center green space. This festival-like atmosphere is designed for celebration and for fostering community. Oh, and did we mention the opportunity to camp… (details to come!)

Speaking of celebrating, we will have a full schedule of pre and post-race events, including athlete panels, community dinner, socials, and of course wine tastings. You can’t come to Lake Sonoma and not visit a winery!
